Professional BiographyPatrick J. Gibbs graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree in English and received his law degree at Notre Dame in 1975. He has been admitted to the practice of law in his home state of Michigan and in Georgia. Mr. Gibbs served four years active duty in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps while assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia. Since 1992 his law office has been located in the Historic District of Roswell with a practice largely devoted to wills, trusts, estates and estate planning. Mr. Gibbs is a member of the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and has served on the Board of Directors of the North Fulton Bar Association. Since 1996 he has written a monthly column on legal subjects that appears regularly in The North Georgia Star.
