Meet Patrick J. Gibbs, Attorney at Law

For more than 30 years, I’ve served clients across Cobb County and metro Atlanta with legal counsel that’s efficient, practical, and rooted in trust. I’ve drafted thousands of estate plans, guided grieving families through probate, and helped small business owners protect their legacies—all with a commitment to solutions, not complications.

Experience & Background

I began my legal career after serving four years of active duty in the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, followed by three years in the reserves while practicing law in Michigan. Eventually, I traded snow for sunshine and relocated to Georgia, where I’ve been practicing ever since.

I’ve handled over 2,500 estate planning projects, and my clients range from first-time parents to retirees with complex family structures. I’m not here to upsell or overcomplicate—I’m here to make sure you leave with a plan that works.

Approach & Values

I believe:

Efficiency is a virtue.

I respect your time and keep the process clear and streamlined.

Good planning prevents bad surprises.

The best legal work happens before there’s a crisis.

Every client deserves a straight answer.

No jargon, no runaround—just honest guidance.

I often say, “I’m not in the documents business. I’m in the solutions business.” That philosophy guides everything I do.

Outside the Office

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me reading, spending time with my wife of nearly 30 years, or staying involved in my East Cobb community. I’ve advertised in the Georgia Bulletin for nearly three decades and value the trust of returning clients and their referrals.
